For help with anything, email support@useblackletter.com. You'll hear back within two days, and reports of abuse sent from inside the app are reviewed within 24 hours.
Include your handle, the screen, the exact error and what you were trying to do. Never send an Apple password, sign-in token, agent key or a private invitation link.

Using Blackletter
The reader’s guide walks through finding books, tracking progress, logging and ranking, correcting a read, reviews, passages, lists, imports and privacy. For an assistant, follow Connect an agent.
Joining
Blackletter is invite-only. A member sends an invite to your phone number; open the link on your iPhone, get the app, and join with Sign in with Apple. If a link has expired, ask for a new one.
Signing in on a new phone
Install Blackletter through TestFlight, then choose Sign in with Apple with the same Apple account you joined with. Existing members do not need a new invitation.
Open BlackletterPhone numbers and account access
Your phone number helps friends find you; your Apple account signs you in. The number shown in Settings cannot be changed in the app. If it is wrong or has changed, or you can no longer access the Apple account you joined with, email support@useblackletter.com to discuss recovery. Include your handle and describe the issue; support will explain any verification needed. A new invitation does not recover an existing account.
The owner account has no self-service deletion or ownership transfer. To discuss deleting that account and closing the club, email support@useblackletter.com before making changes that affect members.
Reporting and blocking
Tap ••• on a post, list or profile, or press and hold a comment, passage or review, to report it or block the person. You'll find everyone you've blocked, and can unblock them, in Settings → Blocked accounts.
Your data
Settings → Export my data saves a JSON archive of your profile and photo, rankings, diary, reviews, passages, shelves, lists, goals, comments and recommendation notes. It also includes your social connections and actions, invitations, import history and connection metadata. It excludes sign-in credentials, private invite codes and other members’ writing. The app cannot restore this JSON archive.
Settings → Delete account permanently erases a member account and its content. Export first if you want a copy. See the privacy policy for what is kept and why, and account help for the owner-account exception.
